It’s that time of year across the world – parties, friends, travel, lots of eating and drinking and hopefully a little time for looking back and taking stock.
As I do all of the above, especially as I think about my 2011, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and love.
I’m grateful for all the blessings in my life, and I realize those essentially come down to one thing – the people I call my tribe – my family and friends. The people who make everything richer and deeper – who give texture and meaning to whatever I do. The people I have known for decades and those I met just two weeks ago in India.
Taking stock is a good thing. It allows us to readjust our trajectory. Are we on our path? Are we living the way we want to be living? Are we spending time – that precious commodity – with those we love?
I for one am taking this Holiday time to do just that and hope you do the same. We’ll be back with bells on in January, 2012.
Wherever and however you are celebrating, I wish you peace, love and many blessings for you and your loved ones.
Thank you for your continued support and we’ll see you next year.
